This inscription is engraved on a memorial pillar found near a mandapa about 100
yards north of the Antiquity section at Nagarjunakonda.

2. .............hema...........diva 10 àrada-bhaäàrakasa................
3. yati-samaía-khamdhikatasa koäa(rakasa)

L 1. ...aka instead oka (DS), The intended word may be araka (skt. aryaka), even
if this is accepted we can scarcely connect this epithet with the name of the 'Aira'
family (of. Ep. Ind., XXXII, p. 85, note. 3) Apparently there was, here
something lide 'Sava' followed by numerical symbols indicating the year of the
date when the inscription was engraved. (identical notes for both)
