Likhita is a proper name, and the inscription speaks probably of the gift of a pillar by him. The sign after bhi appears to be a d opening to the right, I cannot clearly make out the sign that follows p. Consequently no translation has been given. (RCh) [Read bhikhuío Pàòaliputàto ? -Ed. F.W.
