There is space for one akshara between da and na[ė] in line 2. tu of pamātu in the same line, though worn, is clear enough.
Sa-bhayakasa=sa-bhāryasya. Pamātu in line 2 is the genitive of pamāta, Sanskrit pramātði (Childers). For the peculiar compound Buddha-pamātu, compare Sa[ė]ghala-samanasa in No. 11. I have not been able to trace this stone in the cellar of the Madras Government Museum and so cannot say whether it bears an image of the Buddha. (RCh)
