Fifteen, 15 nivartanas in the village of Puvānadā, the meritorious gift of Palapa. With
the company of the Apajčtas (rests) the investment of the Kārøāpanas. (ASWI)

Possibly the gaía of the Apajčtas mentioned here is the same as the Siddhagaía of the
Aparājitas who are the trustees in No. 23; if so, gaía may be taken in the sense of
school, by the kārøāpanas, the income from the field must be meant. (ASWI)
