The inscription is under another sitting figure of the Buddha in `Pralambapàdàsana' and 'Dharmachakramudrà' in the verandah of Cave No. 3. It measure 99 cm. x 10 cm. Letters 6.5 cm. x 4,5 cm. Characters: Bràhmè, 5th century A.D. Language - Sanskrit. Orthography: The letters show the resemblance with the letters of the inscription of Varàhadeva at Ajanta, cave no. 16. (ShG)
