Lazimpat Ùiva Liêga Inscription of Manadeva's Reign. Round the base (Jalahari) of a liêga at Lazimpat, Kathmandu, at a locality called Dhobichaur (the washerman's lawn). The inscribed part is about 106 cm wide and 7.5 cm long. Date: Saìvat 388 Jyeøòha ùukla 14. The metre used here is Vasantatilakà (R.) Dhobècaura hill, on Ùivaliêga, near the water-conduit. Records the installation of a liêga by Naravarman, the "servant" (bhðtya) [of Manadeva]. |
