1 Sidhaì Turughura-vathavasa Chadamukha-gahapatisa bàlikà Tanachadaya . . . . . . cha halikaya Badhaya
2 nutukàya Bha(Cha ?)daya cha Bhaga[vato] mahàchetiyasa paradàre [pura-dàre ?- Ed.] [dakhi]ne pase [u]dhapaòa [de]ya-dhama

'Success ! (This) upright slab placed on the south side of the main (para) gate of the Mahàchaitya of the Blessed one, (is) the pious gift of . . . . . . . . . . . . . the daughter of the householder Chadamukha (Chandramukha), an inhabitant of Turughura, and of . . . . . . . . . . . and of the hàlikà Bàdhà and of her grand-daughter Bhadà (Bhadrà).'
