The inscription is above the tank to the left hand end of Cave No.7. It is deeply cut and distinct. There is swastika at the beginning of the inscription. It measures 45 cm. x 70 cm. Letters 11 cm. x 9 cm. Characters: Brāhmč, early 2nd century A.D. Language: Prakrit. Orthography : The medial 'u' is shown by a little curve in the word 'svāmikupāsaka' in line No.2. (ShG) |
