60. Ipur plates (set II), year 47.

This charter, found in Ipur (Tenali Taluk, Guntur District, A-P.) along with No. III, consists of a set of three thin copper plates (each measuring 7" by 1.5") and a ring (3 inches in diameter) with a much worn out circular seal divided by a cross-line into two sections. In the lower section the legend Ùrè-Màdhava[varmma] in two lines, is very faintly visible, while the symbols in the upper section cannot be made out. The weight of the set is 30 tolas. The writing on the plates is much-injured, especially on the last two faces. The following transcript is based on the plate of the record published in EI, XVII, facing p. 338 (SN).
